1) What features are included under King Manor Care & Rehabilitation Center’s daily fees?

King Manor’s basic fees cover bedroom accommodations, all meals and snacks, 24-hour skilled nursing and personal attendant care, cable television, all activities and trips, and all medication dispensing.  Amenities such as laundry, hair dresser and other services can be provided at an additional cost. Please call our Admissions Office at 732-774-3500, extension 118 to discuss our fee schedule with your specific needs in mind.

2) Does King Manor accept Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance plans?

King Manor accepts Medicare, Medicaid and many insurance plans to cover the cost of room and board, contracted physician specialists, rehabilitative services and most medications.  Since the scope of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance coverage is particular to each individual, it is best to discuss your specific benefits coverage with our Admissions Office directly.  Please feel free to call us at 732-774-3500, extension 118 to speak to our Admissions Director personally, or send an e-mail to Faigy@KingManor.com.

3) Can I keep my doctor if I am admitted to King Manor?

King Manor is pleased to have many leading area-based primary care physicians affiliated with our facility.  If your physician is not already on our roster of affiliates, we are happy to invite him or her to join our staff.  Otherwise, you can choose from our many affiliated physicians to oversee your care during your stay with us.  You can resume your care with your regular physician upon your return home.

4) Will King Manor accommodate my specific dietary requirements and preferences?

Whenever possible, King Manor will make every attempt to accommodate personal dietary preferences so long as they are reasonable and can be handled in our Glatt Kosher kitchen.  Happily, our reputation for dining excellence precedes us and our rich and varied menus seem to satisfy even the most fussy of palates!

5) How will I know if my loved one is getting good care and enough attention from your staff?

King Manor Care & Rehabilitation Center has an established 20-year reputation for providing outstanding care and service.  Many area physicians are affiliated with King Manor, and recommend our facility to their own patients and family members.  We have a clear record of deficiency-free state surveys, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a cheerful, nurturing environment for all of our residents.  Moreover, our excellent Activities staff endeavors to keep your loved one as involved, motivated and aware as possible. you are always welcome to speak with our nursing or social work team about your loved one’s needs directly.  Also, we encourage family members to participate in care plan meetings for their loved one as an added opportunity to monitor the resident’s progress.

6) What are visiting hours?

Our open-door policy enables you to check on your loved one during normal visiting hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. During special circumstances, arrangements can be made to accommodate visitors during different times.
